ONLAY WHITENING (HOME WHITENING)

Whitening of with onlay method.

In our dentist's surgery we perform whitening with immediate LUMACOOL                                         

method or by using the onlay splint for the night. This allows to whiten teeth for a few tones.

What is onlay whitening ?
For the precise control of the state of teeth we make impressions of teeth for every patient. On their base in our laboratory we prepare for him individual, thin, transparent onlays. The patient receives them on another visit along with the kit of syringes of whitening preparation 10%, 15% or 20% about concentration depending on the sensitivity of teeth. We are trying out onlays for him and we inform the patient how to administer gel.
It is best to whiten teeth at night-time or to carry onlays a few hours in a day. After 2 applications the difference is already visible. Gel is most often enough for 2 weeks. Onlays serve the patient for a long time. If necessary it is to administer preparation against post-procedural oversensitivity - Elmex Gel. After a year the patient can repeat whitening (1-2 applications are enough in order to keep the effect). To onlays, it is possible also to administer preparations containing fluoride with the purpose of the prevention to the tooth decay. Everything of course after discussing the procedure with  dental surgeon.
